19 months...

This is really just a continuation of an 18 months that never got finished at the time. I thought about combining them but she had already changed so much from the few things that I wrote down that I decided to keep them separate.

Lyla repeats words pretty well. It took forever to get there, but now she will give almost anything a try if we ask her to.

We has successfully gone to nursery a few times now. I have been pleasantly surprised at how well she's done. There three other little girls in the ward who started the same month, and I feel like lyla has adjusted better than most of them. Update: this may not be true anymore...we'll see. Update:definitely NOT true.

Just learned how to play an app on the iPad and how to watch Daniel Tiger. Both a blessing and a curse!i was able to take my first shower while she was awake, but by the second day she was also throwing a major tantrum every time she'd see the iPad and I wouldn't give it to her. We're trying to find a good balance!

Started talking on the phone really well. She loves to call dad at work and jabber away. I think she talked to him for 5 minutes the other day before I could pry the phone away from her. She has the flow of conversation down really well.

This girl is always cracking us up with her new words. One of her new ones is "please" and when she wants something, she goes "pees, pees, pees, pees, pees, pees!!!" really fast like a little begger. When she really likes something she's eating, she"ll say "mmmm....nummy!". She also likes to say that about the toothpaste.

Lyla chipped her front tooth this month. She was running away from me in a parking lot and I ran after her to grab her. For a second she cracked up thinking it was funny, till she hit the pavement and started screaming. I thought she seemed pretty upset for a little fall, but she settled down quickly. She had a little gravel on the outside of her mouth, but I didn't think much of it till we arrived at home and I got her out of the car and immediately saw a piece missing from her cute little front tooth. I was pretty sad about it because her little smile is one of y favorite things about her, but I am getting used to it now, and I'm grateful that it wasn't the whole tooth!

She started loving her stuffed animals, especially her "puppy".
