18 months

I can't believe this girl is 18 months already! This is such a fun age-it seems like she learns something new every day! It is so much fun to watch her learn.

She's not a huge talker, but she's often surprising us with new words that she knows, like "bow" and Todd is pretty sure that she keeps saying "there you go" when she hands you something.

Loves to read. Her favorite books are Noah's Ark, Barnyard Dance, and Barney Says. She can do all the commands in Barney Says (pat your head, tap your nose, etc,), and I caught her sitting on the kitchen floor flipping through the pages one day and she was doing the motions to herself on all the right pages.

Lyla started loving to use utenils and is better at it than I would have thought. Sometimes if she won't eat something, I'll giver her a utensil and she will change her mind and dig in. Got to have lots of tricks up your sleeve to keep these kids fed!

When you ask her "how are you?" Or "how are you doing?, she responds with "guuuuuh" (good). The only problem is if you ask her "what are you doing?" She pretty much says the same thing :)

Enjoying her first donut. She would not let go of that bag!

Loves shoes-especially my heals
