We threw a little party for Lyla on her birthday. Obviously she didn't care much, but it was fun for Todd and I to get family together and celebrate our girl. Lyla was spoiled silly by her grandparents, aunties, and cousins. My favorite part of the day was probably watching Lyla eat her cake. She was pretty hesitant at first till Todd took a few bites to show her what to do. After that she got a little more involved and enjoyed some frosting. Thanks to everyone who made the trek and made it a great day!

There are so many things I love about this post! I adore her hair. And that picture of her going after the cake is priceless. Did you make that cake? It looks amazing! She is so beautiful and starting to look more and more like her mama. I can't believe how quickly that first year went by!
Love all of these pictures! So sad we missed the party but I feel like we were there just looking at these. I can't get over how cute she is going after that cake!
